Five days through deodar forest and century-old apple orchards, along the Bhagirathi river, to the source shrine at Gangotri — based at Harsil Resorts throughout.
Harsil sits where the Bhagirathi bends through a valley of century-old deodar and apple orchards planted in the colonial era — a stop most Chardham travellers rush past on the way to Gangotri, 25 km further up the road.
This package is built to slow that down. Two nights are spent based in Harsil itself, with days set aside for the orchards, the river, the short trek to Mukhba, and the drive up to Gangotri Dham in time for the evening Ganga Aarti.
Every night is spent at a Harsil Resorts property — wooden cottages and riverside cabins, all within walking distance of the Bhagirathi.
All packages include stay, meals, and transport as listed below — priced per person, twin-sharing.
The same route underpins all three packages; the Riverside Pilgrim follows it in full.
Drive up from Dehradun or Rishikesh along the Bhagirathi, climbing through Uttarkashi and into the deodar belt. Check in by evening, with the river running past the property.
An early drive 25 km up the valley to Gangotri, the source shrine of the Ganga. Time at the temple and the river, then back to Harsil in time for the evening Ganga Aarti before returning to the resort for dinner.

A slower day spent among the century-old apple orchards planted in the colonial era, followed by a walk through Harsil village and along the riverbank. Afternoon free for photography or rest.

A guided trail through pine and deodar forest to Mukhba, the winter seat of the Ganga goddess. A quiet village on a ridge above the valley, worth the slow climb. Return by early evening for a bonfire by the river.

Breakfast by the river, checkout, and the drive back down the valley to Dehradun or Rishikesh.
